Manheim pickups, on our own trucks.
Manheim Charlotte in Concord, Manheim Statesville, Manheim Darlington and the two Atlanta sites are regular runs from our yard in Spartanburg. Send the Vehicle Release and the unit list. We clear the gate, photograph every car and deliver it to your lot, your shop or your exporter's warehouse.

Once a unit is paid for, send your transporter the Manheim Vehicle Release, which replaced the old gate pass. Prime Trans, a car hauler in Spartanburg, SC, presents it with photo ID at the gate and photographs every unit. It delivers from Manheim Charlotte, Statesville, Darlington or Atlanta. Manheim expects removal by the sixth day after a unit becomes eligible.

Mileage is approximate, by road from our Spartanburg yard. Manheim has more sites in Virginia and Florida, and we quote any of them. Manheim Greer, thirteen miles from our yard, is a Manheim service center for Simulcast, OVE and NextGear Capital, not a physical auction, so there are no sale lanes to pick up from there.
What it takes to clear a Manheim release.
- ReleaseManheim renamed the gate pass the Vehicle Release in 2020. It carries a bar code, on paper or on a phone. Our driver presents it to the security agent with photo ID.
- EligibilityA release does not guarantee the car leaves. The unit has to be paid in full, clear of arbitration and post-sale inspection, and free of any collection hold. Manheim can hold a unit 72 hours for funds to clear, and a floor-planned purchase may need the lender's approval.
- ClockOnce a unit is eligible, Manheim's terms give you until the sixth day to remove it. After that, storage can run up to $25 a day.
- Lot hoursManheim Atlanta and Manheim Georgia close their transport lots from midnight to 6 a.m. We plan Atlanta pickups around that window.
Runs in both directions.
- Buyer pickups: sale-day and next-day runs from the lane to your frontline or your reconditioning shop.
- Consignment drop-offs: trade-ins and aged units to the sale, checked in with photos.
- Arbitration returns: units going back to the auction, documented at both ends.
- Export-only purchases: from the lane to your loading warehouse. Manheim requires export-only units to leave the country as soon as reasonably practicable, so we don't sit on them.
Manheim's checkout offers a broker. You can also call the truck.
At checkout, Manheim lets buyers pick Ready Logistics to be paired with a vetted carrier. That is a sensible default if you buy all over the country. If you buy in the Carolinas and Georgia every week, booking the car hauler directly gets you one phone number, the same trucks and drivers on your runs, and a rate with no middle layer on it. The longer version is on Direct, no broker.
Straight answers
Is Manheim Greer an auction?
No. Manheim Greer, at 101 Tungsten Blvd, is a Manheim service center built around Simulcast, OVE and NextGear Capital, and it lists no sale days. The nearest physical Manheim auctions to the Upstate are Manheim Charlotte in Concord and Manheim Statesville, both in North Carolina.
What does your driver need to pick up at Manheim?
The Vehicle Release for each unit and a valid photo ID. The unit also has to be eligible: paid for, clear of arbitration and post-sale inspection, and not on hold. If any of that is missing the gate will not release it, so we confirm before the truck leaves Spartanburg.
How long can a unit sit at Manheim?
Once a unit is eligible for release, Manheim's terms say it must be removed no later than the sixth day. After that, storage can run up to $25 a day.
How is a Manheim run priced?
Per unit, by distance and by how many units ride together. Fuel is stated separately on repeat lanes. A full load out of Statesville or Concord prices well below a single unit per car, so tell us the unit count and the sale day.
